We spent 15+ years inside Indian retail — running mall marketing teams, building tenant analytics, fighting for marketing budgets that came back six months later as “open rate” dashboards. The problem was clear: every Indian retail brand is sitting on a goldmine of first-party data, but the tools to actually act on it were either built for the US e-commerce world, or built ten years ago for the loyalty-card era.
